Visit to National Justice Museum - October 2024
The National Justice Museum, Nottingham, was the venue for last October’s History Group trip, with its Victorian courtroom, Georgian gaol, ancient cells and exhibitions depicting the harsh punishments meted out to offenders in the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries. Carol Concert 2024
Once again the singing group, Soar Valley Singers, entertained us with carols and Christmassy songs at Kingston on Soar in December, conducted by Chris Bowerman and with piano accompaniment by Wendy Miller.
