General Meetings
General Meetings are usually held on the last Tuesday of alternate months:
- January
- March (AGM)
- May
- July
- September
- November
Meetings take place in Normanton on Soar Village Hall, starting at 2pm. Each meeting includes a talk, by an invited speaker, on a topic of general interest.
Outings
Each year we organise three or four outings, usually coach trips, to places of interest.
Recent visits have been to the RHS Malvern Spring Festival, Little Moreton Hall and the Anderton Boat Lift, Temple Newsam Hall in Leeds, and Wroxeter Roman City and Shrewsbury.
Our Events team works hard to keep costs to a minimum and to ensure an enjoyable day out for all who attend.
Socials
Our programme of social events includes:

- Christmas Carol Concert
- Christmas Party
Workshops
We organise occasional workshops on topics of interest to members. Recent subjects have included First Aid and advice for older drivers.
