Soar Valley

u3a

Soar Valley u3a is part of a national voluntary movement for the retired or semi-retired, providing relaxed learning and leisure activities where you can meet new friends. Our members live mainly in Costock, East Leake, Gotham, Kegworth, Normanton on Soar, Sutton Bonington and surrounding areas.

There's something for everyone. We've around forty special interest groups, on topics ranging from science to singing, history to hill walking. Plus there are social events, guest speaker meetings and organised day trips to places of interest.

Our main purpose is to encourage lifelong learning for those no longer in full time employment. We are affiliated to the Third Age Trust and are members of The Association of East Midlands u3as. We are a Registered Charity (Number 1101205).
