Travelling the length of the WWI Western Front on his Triumph Tiger motorbike, Phil crossed some of Europe’s most evocative and beautiful scenery, from the Swiss border, riding through Alsace, Lorraine, Champagne, the Somme and Flanders and finishing at the North Sea in Belgium.

Phil’s talk is a homage to people on all sides who fought and died on the Western Front, focusing in particular on the fate of two men from his native Nottingham.
