This groups meets monthly, normally on the first Friday of the month.
Birdwatching 2 is one of our two active birdwatching groups.
We share lifts where possible, and aim to meet in time for coffee, followed by 2-3 hours of birding, then a cafe or pub lunch before returning home.
Members take it in turns to organise trips to birdwatching sites within easy reach, usually within an hour's drive but sometimes a little further afield.

Birdwatching 2 had an interesting visit to Nottingham University Park on 1st August. Lots of birds and their young plus a very friendly squirrel. Many thanks to Jane for organising this trip.

Visit to Frampton Marsh - March 2025
Birdwatching 2 enjoyed a great trip to one of our favourite destinations on 7th March 2025: RSPB Frampton Marsh on The Wash, near Boston, Lincs.
